As part of the community-wide Annual Concrete Improvement Plan, Public Works will be working with a contractor to perform a variety of prioritized concrete maintenance projects throughout the City which include repairs to sidewalks, ramps, drainage gutters, and curbs.
Work will begin on October 3 and last approximately 60 days. Residents may notice orange, red, or yellow locate markings in neighborhoods that were placed on September 26 and 27. Some neighborhood areas will be signed 24 hours in advance as ‘no parking zones’ in order to allow contractors access to perform the necessary maintenance.
Please refer to the project map for a list of projects and the order in which they will be completed. Timing is subject to change due to weather and other impacts.
This work is an essential element of the City's concrete maintenance program designed to preserve a significant investment in our infrastructure. Questions may be directed to Derek Alvarado, City of Lafayette Construction Inspector, at 303-661-1278 or Derek.Alvarado@cityoflafayette.com .
