[ARCHIVED] Public Works postpones Spring Clean-up, mulch and compost events

Compostable bags

The City is postponing the Spring Clean-Up service provided to residents not served by Republic Services (previously scheduled for April 28-May 5) until current Stay at Home Orders are lifted.  Once the service is rescheduled, the City will provide residents with at least a two week advanced notice prior to pick up so they can plan accordingly.

Special events hosted at the City’s Service Center are also postponed due to that facility currently being closed to the public in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.  This includes both events- the mulch pick-up event open to all residents and the compost pick-up event for Republic Services customers only.  Rescheduling will be evaluated once a re-opening date for City facilities is determined.

We are committed to continuing to provide essential municipal services electronically and by phone while city facilities are closed.  Please give Public Works a call at 303-661-1277 if you have questions or need additional assistance.
