How to pick up your holds

Pick up your holds and browse during Grab and Go hours--thanks for remembering your face covering!

View hours and details for picking up your books and other items at the Lafayette Public Library.

The Lafayette Public Library is now open for limited browsing, in-person holds pickup inside the Lobby, and limited computer use (appointments recommended). Anyone with holds ready to pick up may come into the Lobby to check them out. Cloth facial coverings are required. Those customers at risk for severe illness from COVID-19 may make arrangements for drop-in Curbside pickup by calling 303-661-1160 during Library open hours.

Please review all reopening details before your visit.

Holds pickup process
Place up to 25 items on hold using the Library catalog, or by calling 303-665-5200. Once you have received notice by email, phone, or text that your requested items are available for pickup:

  • Come into the Lobby during our open hours (cloth facial coverings required). The Library is closed on Mondays. Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 1-5pm.
  • Customers at risk for severe illness from COVID-19 may arrange for drop-in Curbside pickup by calling 303-661-1160 during open hours (starting Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 10am).

Grab bags for adults, kids, or teens
Need help finding what to read next? Fill out a Grab Bag request form for Adults or a Kids or Teens Grab Bag request form to receive a bag of pre-selected items. These will be added to the holds shelf in the Lobby for you to pick up in person.
