The Public Works Department has partnered with the Center For ReSource Conservation (CRC) to offer citizens of Lafayette discounted prices on Gardens-In-A-Box. This is the first year Lafayette has joined other municipalities in Colorado by participating in this beautiful Xeriscape-promoting concept.
There are three varieties of gardens to choose from and one vegetable garden as well.
Each box includes:
*15-28 low water plants in 4" pots
*Easy to follow "Plant-by-Number" diagrams
*Planting and maintenance instructions
*Discounted prices from $74-109 for Lafayette residents
A limited number of gardens will be offered at reduced prices to Lafayette citizens.
Pick-up of pre-purchased gardens is 5/23/2013 from 3:00PM - 6:00PM at the barn located on the Thomas Open Space.
