[ARCHIVED] Free COVID-19 test kits

Bumblebasket COVID-19 Test Lockers

Find out how to get a free test - from Bumblebasket Library lockers, or sent directly to your home by the State, or in the community via COVIDCheck Colorado.

Need a COVID-19 test? Try one of these options:

1. Bumblebasket, the organization established by Centaurus High School student Kenner Galdamez Sosa, stocks self-serve lockers at the Library with kits when they become available. For all questions about this service, including information on whether the lockers have been stocked, please visit https://bumblebasket.org.  COVID-19 kits are restocked by Bumblebasket when received by the State of Colorado. Visit the lockers on the Lower Level by the elevator. Library staff does not have information on restocking dates or wait times, and cannot reserve kits. Visit Bumblebasket.org for updated status and availability.

2. Order free at-home tests from the State of Colorado. The program uses Abbott BinaxNOW™ rapid antigen tests that show results within 15 minutes.

3. Try the nearby COVIDCheck Colorado free testing site at Lafayette Centaurus High School,10300 W. South Boulder Road. Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
