[ARCHIVED] Tips to avoid fraudulent donation solicitations after a disaster

The Boulder Office of Emergency Management advises that the community outpouring of support for those impacted by the Marshall fire has been tremendous. Please be aware that fraudulent donation solicitation can occur after a disaster.

The Lafayette Police Department has not taken any police reports after the Marshall Fire of this fraudulent activity, but review these guidelines suggested by Boulder OEM to ensure your donation makes it to those in need.
