Artist Statement
"Forever in My Heart 2" evolved from a series of smaller sculptures that I gave to people who were experiencing the pain of losing their pet. This sculpture reflects both the joy and pain of having a pet and serves as a reminder that, even though they are gone physically, they are still in your heart. I envision "Forever in My Heart 2" located in a quiet place where people can reflect on the good times that they have had together. Their pets will be there too, either physically or spiritually.
