Starting the week of April 4, the City of Lafayette Public Works Department will continue the annual street maintenance capital improvements postponed in 2021 due to material shortages. Work is anticipated to last for approximately two months, but may be adjusted due to weather or crew availability.
For areas where street parking may be impacted, the project contractor will place No Parking signs and door hangers in advance of the work. Please do not park in these areas while the signs are in place. Once the work is complete in a particular area, the signs will be removed.
As construction begins in an area where No Parking signs have been placed, the contractor and the City will attempt to contact individuals who are parked in these areas prior to the start of construction. Vehicles not moved are subject to towing and impounding at the owner's expense.
If you have any questions, please contact Deron Steenberg, Project Manager with Martin Marietta at Deron.Steenberg@martinmarietta.com.
