[ARCHIVED] Lafayette Stage 1 Fire Restrictions lifted

Stage 1 Fire Restrictions LIFTED. Red line through a flame

The Lafayette City Administrator, in consultation with the Fire Chief , has carefully reviewed current conditions and authorized the lifting of Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for all areas within Lafayette city limits effective August 16, 2022. These restrictions are being rescinded due to decreased fire risk, increased precipitation levels, and minimal wildfire activity.

The Fire Chief will continue to evaluate conditions and may reinstate restrictions if warranted.
