City offers new recycling guide for residents

Reycle guide image

In honor of America Recycles Day, the City of Lafayette is excited to announce a partnership with Recycle By City to offer residents a localized, interactive, and comprehensive recycling guide . This easy-to-use guide will help you become an excellent recycler and composter while helping you find local disposal options for hard-to-recycle items such as batteries, corks, pet food bags, and more.

Support Lafayette’s waste diversion goals by recycling and composting as much as possible. The City’s Three Cart Program through Republic Services incentivizes residents to recycle and compost while reducing materials placed in the garbage cart that will ultimately end up in local landfills.

This guide will be available year-round to assist with questions regarding recycling and composting opportunities in your home.
