Finding Common Ground in an Uncommon World  

Finding Common Ground in an Uncommon World is on display from Nov. 9, 2022 - Jan. 8, 2023. This show explores art as a vehicle for wisdom and insight in the search for common ground across identities, backgrounds, communities, and ideologies.

Opening Reception

Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 | 6-8pm| The exhibit is curated by the Women’s Art Caucus. Join us for the opening reception with the artists with live music by Laurie Dameron and complimentary light snacks and wine for purchase. Free and open to the public. 

Panel Discussion: Artful Journey to Common Ground

Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 |1 – 2:30pm | The Women's Caucus for Art panel discussion is an invitation to guests to hear and discuss how artists create “connection” in our disconnected world. Facilitated by Donna Roe Daniell, LCSW, mindfulness coach and retreat leader for women in transformation. 

 Additional Activities:

The Collective Community Arts Center is home to the Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department. It is located at 201 N. Public Road. At The Collective, visitors engage in the arts through various exhibits, historic displays, networking opportunities, arts business development, social themes, lectures, film series, and other arts and culture programs.  Find out more about The Collective.
