Mobilization will begin on Nov. 20 to replace bluegrass turf in two street medians located along E. South Boulder Road, east of Public Road. The goal of this project is to reduce turf and maximize water savings. Grass planted in medians requires both maintenance and irrigation. The implementation of this project will provide water savings, reduce maintenance needs, and beautify aging landscape in the medians.
The project is expected to last for approximately four weeks depending on weather conditions. During this time, one lane of traffic on each side of the median being worked on will be closed. Through traffic will be functioning in the adjacent lane. Please drive slowly and safely in the construction zone.
