CDOT seeking community input on CO 7 Corridor Segment B Project

CDOT Segment B

The CO 7 Corridor Segment B 63rd Street to US 287 focuses on a 5.5-mile segment of CO 7 which is located in Boulder County, east of the City of Boulder, and a portion in the City of Lafayette. This project aims to improve safety, enhance transit options, ease congestion, create pedestrian and bikeway amenities, and connect the north metro region between Brighton and Boulder.   

 The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is ready to advance the proposed design concept into the preliminary design phase. Watch the next online public meeting video presentation and participate in the community input questionnaire where you will be able to learn more and provide feedback on the proposed transportation improvements.

More about the Project
CO 7 is one of the north metro region’s most heavily traveled east/west commuter corridors and a critical route connecting the region between Brighton and Boulder. The overall CO 7 Corridor Project aims to provide a safe, multimodal transportation system that supports the economy, enhances the environment, and improves the quality of life for residents, commuters, and visitors. 

Keep in mind that this project is a preliminary design study and is partially funded by Boulder County, Denver Regional Council of Governments, and other local municipalities. The partnership is a joint effort with the CO 7 Coalition and through a successful Transportation Improvement Program application with local agencies matched funding.
