[ARCHIVED] Mosquito control efforts at Waneka Lake Park scheduled for July 24 after 10pm

In an effort to combat the proliferation of nuisance mosquitoes and to fight mosquito-borne disease, Colorado Mosquito Control will perform mosquito control at Waneka Lake Park. Ground-based ULV (ultra-low volume) adult mosquito control at this location the evening of Wednesday, July 24 after 10 PM, upon closure of the park. All control practices are subject to weather restrictions.

• Use DEET-enhanced insect repellent
• DRESS in long sleeves and pants
• Avoid the outdoors from DUSK to DAWN
• DRAIN standing water outside your home
