Throw on your hiking shoes, hop on your bike, take the bus, or surf the net to participate in the Lafayette Green Expedition. You’ll learn about the City’s sustainability projects and have a chance to win an iPad Mini!
“Lafayette is one of the most forward-thinking green communities in the state when it comes to sustainability,” said Curt Cheesman, Director of Recreation, Senior Services, Facility and Energy Management. “Many of our projects aren’t physically visible to residents so we’re helping raise awareness through this fun, interactive contest.
There is no charge to participate. Download a game card at www.cityoflafayette.com/GreenExpedition or pick one up at the Lafayette Public Library, City Hall, or various green businesses around town. Drop your completed Green Expedition Card at the Library's Energy Corner (located to the right as you enter the building), between September 1 and September 30, 2013 and you could win an iPad Mini. The winner will be drawn randomly from all completed cards on October 5, 2013 and notified by email. You must be a Lafayette resident to win.
