Spring into action...We know that for a lot of people warmer weather brings an opportunity for Spring cleaning. The Friends of the Lafayette Library would like to help you find a home for any gently used or like-new books you might come across. The Friends are in the wake of a very successful March book sale, raising money to support Library programming such as Summer Reading. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and purchased books! Now, they are enthusiastic to refill the shelves.
Because volunteer resources are limited, the Friends are asking you to call 303-665-5200 or go online to make a donation appointment.
The Friends will accept up to a maximum of two boxes or four bags, by appointment only, beginning Saturday, April 24. Donations need to be in excellent condition. Please review donation guidelines before your appointment. Of course, you can always make your generous monetary donations to the Friends of the Lafayette Library through their easy and secure online portal.

And while you're online, please consider joining the Friends. It is one of the best ways to show your active support for the Library's essential work in your community.
Happy Spring! - Scott Foley, Acting Director

Art at the Library
The walls of the Library upstairs are filled with creations from BVSD students in all grades. Kate Fisher's pandemic portraits can be enjoyed on the main Lobby level.
Don't miss the display cabinets, which currently feature statues of endangered animals produced by kids from The Empowerment Center of East County's Art for Social Change.
Keep up with all the rotating art on the Library Art Calendar.
