Midsummer Musings...

With outreach efforts around town, in-person outdoor storytimes and special events, and the gradual resumption of services, the Library is humming with activity again! Visitors may now use the upstairs public phone, vending machine, and water fountains, and connect to WIFI and WIFI printing in the building and parking lot.

Kids may check in with a librarian for one 30-minute computer session per day (one workstation is available as we remain mindful of social distancing concerns). Teens have access to two computers for one 60-minute daily session. The downstairs Computer Lab options for Adults remain limited, so we recommend calling ahead to reserve a spot, 303-661-1162.

Need a private place to study or connect to a meeting?

Two of our study rooms can now be booked, and our six-person free group study room can be reserved starting in August. Use the round button on the Library homepage to reserve a study room.

Event spaces

Looking to rent our Conference Room (current capacity 20 people) or the big Meeting Room (capacity 160)? The booking system will be open to the public on Wednesday, July 14.

It's almost Book Sale time!

Shop the Friends sale (in the Bookstore section near the Nonfiction area on the main floor) during Library hours, July 24-August 1. The sale will include books, DVDs, and gift items for all ages, as well as sets of Great Courses for $10 each. Most items are priced from $.50 to $4.

Totes in the Wild

Support the Library with your $20 donation to the Friends of the Lafayette Public Library Foundation. Stop by the front desk to donate, and you will receive this tote bag...Where you tote it is up to you...but we'd love to see where it travels!
