It's Book Sale Time!


Shop the Friends of the Lafayette Library book sale during regular Library hours through Sunday, Nov. 21. Find books, DVDs, and gently used gift items. Prices on all items range from 50? - $4 unless specially marked. All proceeds are used to support literacy programs at the Lafayette Public Library.

Fall Reading & National Novel-Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)
All ages - there is still time to do fun activities and earn a free book, or submit a writing sample for our contest! Both programs end Nov. 30.

Upcoming closures
The Library will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday, Nov. 24 until 10am on Saturday, Nov. 27. Book drops are locked while the Library is closed, but we do not have late fees - hang on to your items until we open!


Protecting our community
To support the safety of all the community members, including children who are not eligible for vaccination, the new Boulder County Public Health Order 2021-08, effective Sept. 3, 2021, requires mask wearing in public indoor spaces for everyone 2 years and older regardless of vaccination status. For more information, please visit: Boulder County Public Health Order 2021-08

  • LafayetteREADS book discussion, Monday, Dec. 13 at 6pm. Our December selection is "On Immunity: An Inoculation" by Eula Biss. Copies are available to borrow or download.
    Participants registered for the discussion will receive free copies of the book while supplies last. Register

Teens
  • Join Teen Team - we have lots of upcoming volunteer opportunities. No time? Earn credit for a few hours helping the Library on a Teen Service Day.

  • Drop-in Gaming - Do some gaming at the Library! Look for the Gaming sign next to the Learning Lab door - if it is up, check out a PS4 or game on your card, and get a controller from the librarian. You can also play on the Wii, or help yourselves to any of the tabletop games in the space!

Print from home, or at the Library from your device or a computer!
Use public computers for up to three hours per day with your Library card or guest pass. Need to print?

  • Queue up prints and pay as you go with the self-service print kiosk.

  • Away from the Library - upload a file to lafayetteco.gov/ePrint, or choose the link on that page to simply forward an email and attachments to the printer. Pick up your prints within 24 hours during when we are open.

  • Prefer to come in but print right from your device? Connect to the Library guest WiFi, accept terms, and select a conveniently located WiFi printer.
