Amenities Closed

Large Slide Closed, Lazy River Current Off for Maintenance 

Our Lazy River and Large Slide are getting their pumps refreshed. Both are currently being restored and replaced. During this time, the Lazy River is open and available for swimming, but there is no current pushing the water. The Large Slide is closed.

All other pools are open and available.   

Anticipated Completion Date: Nov. 17, 2022

BBRC 30-Day Fall Pass Sale

Experience everything the Bob Burger Recreation Center offers as often as you like for 30 days with no obligation at the low price of $38 for Adults or $21 for Seniors.

Included with your 30-day pass purchase are drop-in fitness classes, the Rose Lueras Pool, hot tubs, dry sauna, walking track, free weights, cardio theatre, and more!

Pass is good for 30 days from the date of purchase, on any day from Nov. 1 - 30.

BBRC Black Friday Pass Sale

Pass must be purchased on November 25-27 in person at BBRC or online.  

  • Punch Card: Buy a 20 Punch Card, and get five free punches (25 punches for the price of 20). Punches expire six months from the date of purchase. 
  • Annual Pass: 1st-time Annual pass purchasers receive $50 off the first pass, $25 off each additional pass
  • Monthly Pass: The first bill will be waived for December, the last three days of November are FREE, and the $25 admin fee is waived

Our aquatic classes teach children to float, put their faces in the water independently, breathe underwater, move forward, improve strokes, and develop a high comfort level in the water. 

Parents must be present for some classes. Other requisites apply.

Stroke Clinic

Stroke Clinic 

After completing group swim lessons, take advantage of Stroke Clinic to further develop the four competitive strokes while increasing strength and fitness in the water. Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, starts, and turns will be covered.

Youth Futsal Clinic

Youth Indoor Futsal Clinic

A jam-packed crash course in soccer fundamentals with Pancho Hansen kicks off this Indoor Soccer adventure. Futsal is played with smaller teams at a faster pace and is a great way to stay sharp and improve skills.

High Intensity Interval Training

High-Intensity Interval Training

HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, is a training technique that combines all-out quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods.

HIIT improves aerobic and anaerobic fitness, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, insulin sensitivity, and cholesterol. It reduces abdominal fat and lowers body weight while maintaining muscle mass.
This class is not recommended for beginner-level exercisers.

Feeling Out of Place in the Weight Room?

Do you want to start using the weight room equipment but aren't sure how? Sign up for an orientation to proper weight room etiquette, how to use the Cybex Machines, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment.

For the price of admission, a certified personal trainer will provide a weight training orientation to anyone 12 years or older, including SilverSneakers and RenewActive members.

Puppies and Pilates

Puppies and Pilates

Join RezDawg Rescue and the City of Lafayette in a fun and playful Pilates Mat class while interacting with puppies and raising money for their local dog rescue.
Daily admission, punch card, or pass required to attend.
A suggested donation of $20 will be collected at the door. 100% of the donations go directly to RezDawg Rescue.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga involves using a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling as a prop to create space in the body. Designed for beginner aerial students (teens and adults), this class will progress over four weeks, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and successful.

8 Weeks to Oatmeal 5K

We are calling all beginner/casual runners ready to commit to 8-weeks of training for the Oatmeal 5K on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, in Lafayette.

Training occurs twice weekly on Tuesdays at 5pm, and Sundays at 10am. 

*Race registration is not included and must be purchased separately by each participant.

The Canada Geese are Cackling! 

The Cackling Goose, formerly considered a subspecies of the Canada Goose is the most numerous goose in Colorado. But Canada Geese live here all year long and a number of other geese migrate through or winter here.
