Large Slide closed, Lazy River current off for maintenance 

Our Lazy River and Large Slide are getting their pumps refreshed. Both are currently being restored and replaced. During this time, the Lazy River is open and available for swimming, but no current pushes the water. The Large Slide is closed.

All other pools are open and available.

BBRC 30-Day Fall pass sale

Experience everything the Bob Burger Recreation Center offers as often as you like for 30 days with no obligation at the low price of $38 for Adults or $21 for Seniors.

Included with your 30-day pass purchase are drop-in fitness classes, the Rose Lueras Pool, hot tubs, dry sauna, walking track, free weights, cardio theatre, and more!

Pass is good for 30 days from the date of purchase, on any day from Nov. 1 - 30. 

BBRC Black Friday pass sale

Pass must be purchased on November 25-27 in person at BBRC or online.  

• Punch Card: Buy a 20 Punch Card and get five free punches (25 punches for the price of 20). Punches expire six months from the date of purchase. 
• Annual Pass: 1st-time Annual pass purchasers receive $50 off the first pass, $25 off each additional pass
• Monthly Pass: The first bill will be waived for December, the last three days of November are FREE, and the $25 admin fee is waived

Youth Aquatics programs

Our aquatic classes teach children to float, put their faces in the water independently, move forward, improve strokes, and develop a high comfort level in the water. 

Parents must be present for some classes. Other requisites apply.

Stroke Clinic 

After completing group swim lessons, take advantage of Stroke Clinic to further develop the four competitive strokes while increasing strength and fitness in the water. Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, starts, and turns will be covered.

Winter Youth Basketball

This league is all fun and games! Kids will learn higher-level skills and conditioning while having a great time and playing effectively on a team. Open to boys and girls in 3rd-8th grades.

In partnership with the Jr. Nuggets program, each participant will receive a Jr. Nuggets reversible jersey and 1 ticket to a Denver Nuggets game!

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt

The 2022 Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt is bigger and better than ever! Grab your flashlight and search for candy canes while looking for hidden elves. Warm up inside the recreation center afterward with hot chocolate and cookies, where Santa will be available for pictures.

Wrap up your evening by joining us poolside for an ornament race in the lazy river. Pre-registration is required for the ornament race.

8 Weeks to Oatmeal 5K

We are calling all beginner/casual runners ready to commit to 8-weeks of training for the Oatmeal 5K on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, in Lafayette.

Training occurs twice weekly on Tuesdays at 5pm, and Sundays at 10am.

Lafayette Birds! 

We invite beginning birders (families and adults) to experience the fun of birdwatching at this ongoing birdwatching opportunity on the first Sunday of each month. Knowledgeable birdwatchers will be on hand to bring the world of birds alive. View ducks, herons, other water birds, and a variety of songbirds at the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lake Waneka Park.

Meet at The Shack, located on the north side of Waneka Lake Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
