During this time, the Lazy River is open and available for swimming, but no current pushes the water. The Large Slide is closed.

Youth Aquatics programsOur aquatic classes teach children to float, put their faces in the water independently, move forward, improve strokes, and develop a high comfort level in the water.

Winter Youth BasketballThis league is all fun and games! Kids will learn higher-level skills and conditioning while having a great time and playing effectively on a team. Open to boys and girls in 3rd-8th grades.

Flashlight Candy Cane HuntThe 2022 Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt is bigger and better than ever! Grab your flashlight and search for candy canes while looking for hidden elves. Warm up inside the recreation center afterward with hot chocolate and cookies, where Santa will be available for pictures.

Knowledgeable birdwatchers will be on hand to bring the world of birds alive. View ducks, herons, other water birds, and a variety of songbirds at the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lake Waneka Park.
