The Bob Burger Rec Center holiday hours are as follows:
Dec. 24: 9am-2pm
Dec. 25: Closed
Dec. 31: 9am-2pm
Jan. 1: Closed

Large Slide closed, Lazy River current off for maintenance 

Our Lazy River and Large Slide are getting their pumps refreshed. Both are currently being restored and replaced. During this time, the Lazy River is open and available for swimming, but no current pushes the water. The Large Slide is closed.

All other pools are open and available.   

Anticipated Completion Date: Dec. 7

Youth Aquatics programs

Our aquatic classes teach children to float, put their faces in the water independently, move forward, improve strokes, and develop a high comfort level in the water. 

Parents must be present for some classes. Other requisites apply.
Registration for all Session D classes is now available.

Winter Adult Pickleball League

Take your game to a new level with Pickleball competitive play in a match format.

Sign your team up for either Beginner or Intermediate level play based on the player skills information (team self-rating info in the registration link below).

Please fill out the Free Agent Form if you do not have a team and would like to be on the free-agent list.

Tiny Tykes Basketball 

Get your little ones off the sideline and into action! In this class, kids will learn how to participate in a team, build skills, and have fun while instilling a love for the game.

Winter Adult Basketball 

Are you looking for a fun and energetic adult basketball league for teams that like to play in recreational settings? If so, this is the league for your team!

Winter Youth Basketball

This league is all fun and games! Kids will learn higher-level skills and conditioning while having a great time and playing effectively on a team. Open to boys and girls in 3rd-8th grades.

In partnership with the Jr. Nuggets program, each participant will receive a Jr. Nuggets reversible jersey and 1 ticket to a Denver Nuggets game!

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt

The 2022 Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt is bigger and better than ever! Grab your flashlight and search for candy canes while looking for hidden elves. Warm up inside the recreation center afterward with hot chocolate and cookies, where Santa will be available for pictures.

Wrap up your evening by joining us poolside for an ornament race in the lazy river. Pre-registration is required for the ornament race.

School's Out Day Camp

Register your kiddo for a school's out day of fun at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. Your child will engage in activities throughout the day, including swimming, crafts, active games, team building, and more!

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga involves using a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling as a prop to create space in the body. Designed for beginner aerial students (teens and adults), this class will progress over four weeks, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and successful.

Lafayette Birds! 

We invite beginning birders (families and adults) to experience the fun of birdwatching at this ongoing birdwatching opportunity on the first Sunday of each month. Knowledgeable birdwatchers will be on hand to bring the world of birds alive. View ducks, herons, other water birds, and a variety of songbirds at the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lake Waneka Park.

Meet at The Shack, located on the north side of Waneka Lake Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
