Winter Adult Pickleball League

Spring Youth Soccer

Youth Soccer encourages participation and develops skills. All boys and girls in grades K-8 can participate in our soccer classes. Games are played on Saturdays with twice-weekly, one-hour practices during the week. Shin guards are required.

School's Day Out Camp

Winter/Spring School's Out Day Camp

Register your kiddo for a school's out day of fun at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center. Your child will engage in activities throughout the day, including swimming, crafts, active games, team building, and more! 
Please make sure your child has lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle for the program daily.

Yoga Workshop Series: Tight Hips and Hamstrings 

Did you know that our hips and hamstrings are instrumental in our ability to balance, sit, stand, twist, reach, bend, and walk? This workshop focuses on unlocking the hips and hamstrings by properly aligning our bodies and applying principles for deeper practice.

Feeling Out of Place in the Weight Room?

Do you want to start using the weight room equipment but aren't sure how? Sign up for an orientation on proper weight room etiquette, how to use the Cybex Machines, free weights, and cardiovascular equipment.

For the price of admission, a certified personal trainer will provide a weight training orientation to anyone 12 years or older, including SilverSneakers and RenewActive members.

High Intensity Interval

High-Intensity Interval Training

HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training, is a technique that combines all-out quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods.

HIIT improves aerobic and anaerobic fitness, blood pressure, cardiovascular health, insulin sensitivity, and cholesterol. It reduces abdominal fat and lowers body weight while maintaining muscle mass.
This class is not recommended for beginner-level exercisers.

High School Strength and Conditioning

This class is for high school athletes looking to improve their skills and prepare themselves for the upcoming season in various sports.

Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga involves using a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling as a prop to create space in the body. Designed for beginner aerial students (teens and adults), this class will progress over four weeks, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and successful.

Lafayette Birds!

Lafayette Birds! 

We invite beginning birders (families and adults) to experience the fun of birdwatching at this ongoing birdwatching opportunity on the first Sunday of each month. Knowledgeable birdwatchers will be on hand to bring the world of birds alive. View ducks, herons, other water birds, and a variety of songbirds at the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve in Lake Waneka Park.

Meet at The Shack, located on the north side of Waneka Lake Park. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
