Poetry Reading Saturday November 17 7 - 9 pm

Michael Adams Poetry Prize

Poetry Reading and awards night celebrating the Michael Adams Poetry Prize is this Saturday, November 17, 7 - 9 pm at The Collective Community Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public. Light appetizers will be provided. Wine available for purchase.

The event will highlight English and Spanish poets as well as English and Spanish Spoken Word poets. Named in honor of the late poet Michael Adams. The Michael Adams Poetry Prize aims to cultivate and inspire poetry while celebrating Lafayette’s commitment to community arts. Matthew Hoffman exhibit

The exhibit, Wandering through Words: Works by Matthew Hoffman will be on display December 18 – February 17.
Matthew Hoffman will be coming to Lafayette for two events in January. The reception for the exhibit will be Friday January 11, 6 – 9 pm
The collective host a Community Conversation on Saturday, January 12, 1 - 3 pm in the afternoon. RSVP required for the Community Conversation, at www.cityoflafayette.com/activities.
The Collective is located at 210 N. Public Road, Lafayette CO. We are part of City of Lafayette. We are open 10 am – 5 pm Tue., Wed., Thu., Sat; 10 am – 7pm Friday; noon – 5 pm Sunday.

In the spring of 2019 the Arts and Cultural Resources Department will install a site specific outdoor public art sculpture somewhere in Lafayette. The dedication is tentatively scheduled for May.
