Water Conservation Master Plan

On April 2, 2019, Council adopted the 2018 Water Conservation Master Plan for the City of Lafayette. To receive state funding for water resources, this plan must meet the Colorado Water Conservation Board’s guidelines. The new plan is an update to the 2010 Water Conservation plan and ensures the City remains in compliance.

The Water Conservation Master Plan shows how the community, even with the growth the city has experienced, continues to meet our water conservation goals. Residents have managed to keep daily water use at 2012 drought-level conditions.
