2. The Starkey Building, a small historic building, is adjacent to Festival Plaza in Old Town Lafayette. The building is available for meetings, and other private functions during regular business hours, Mon. - Fri. 8 am - 5 pm. A fee of $25 will be charged per use. To reserve the Starkey Building, complete and submit the form below. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing.

    Please provide a brief description of the event/activity/meeting, if there will be amplified music, alcoholic beverages, sales of merchandise and/or commercial signage. Requests to turn off the water feature must be made in writing and must be approved by the Director of Arts & Cultural Resources. However, it is the city's intent not to turn off the water feature for events on a regular basis.

I hereby fully release and discharge the City of Lafayette, its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damage or loss, which may arise or which may be alleged to have risen out of, or in conjunction with, the above meeting(s) or event(s) at Starkey Building. b. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend the City of Lafayette, its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages and loss, which may arise or which may be alleged to have arisen out of, or in conjunction with, the above event(s) at the Starkey Building.
