The purpose of the first pre-application conference is to familiarize the applicant with the City’s requirements, procedures and comprehensive plan before substantial time and financial commitments are made in the preparation of plans, surveys, and other studies.

Limitations of conferences
Due to the early timing of the conference and the preliminary nature of your design, many relevant project details will not be known and cannot be anticipated at the time of the conference.
Accordingly, the conference cannot provide:
Conferences are generally scheduled 4-5 weeks in advance of the date of the meeting. Once your application is submitted, staff will contact you within 3-4 business days with instructions for providing payment and to discuss scheduling a pre-application conference.
