    Makerspace drop in is open to all ages. Children in grades 5 and below must be under the direct supervision of a person over the age of 17 years old. Learn about the equipment we have, programs we offer, and tools available for making designs. Please note that hours can change due to staffing or special programs. Feel free to stop by the Computer Lab in the Lobby to make cards and fill out the releases before coming in for drop-in hours. Get support for online learning, accessing resources, building skills and creative endeavors. Bring your own device or contact Lara for support obtaining one. Once a month a librarian will join the group and explain Library resources.     Let the talented volunteers of the AARP prepare and file your taxes for free. Appointments are required and can be made starting on Jan. 8. Make an appointment at 303-661-1163 or online: cotaxaide.org/appt/ AARP staff may request that customers wear masks in order to receive service. Please do not come to the Library if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Tax returns will be prepared onsite during your appointment. Pick up and fill out the required intake packet prior to your appointment. Bring the packet and all required ID and documents to your appointment. For more information, including info about picking up or downloading tax forms, IRS service locations, and alternate resources for tax assistance, visit the Lafayette Library's Tax Information website: lafayetteco.gov/taxinformation. There is no Spanish interpretation available this year. Please bring someone who can assist you to your appointment. What to Bring to Your Appointment Intake packet - pick up at the Library ahead of time. All income statements (W2, 1099s, SSAs, brokerage statements, etc.) Medical information including insurance information and information for deductions (mortgage interest, property tax, gifts to charities, etc.) Photo ID (required) Social Security cards for anyone listed on the tax return (required)
